Dr. Venkatesh Babu G M is an internationally trained mental health professional working in the field of psychiatry and neurology, practising behavioral medicine with a keen interest in understanding illnesses of brain from the neuro-psychiatric and psycho-social perspectives by analysing the human behaviors and dealing with them holistically by pharmacological, psychotherapeutic and newer brain stimulation treatment approaches. He does possess hands-on skill in the areas of Brain Stimulation, Clinical Research, Electrophysiology, Schizophrenia, Depression, Social Psychology, Anxiety Disorders, etc.

Dr. Venkatesh Babu G M underwent training and certified from the international TMS council in the field of Non-invasive brain stimulation techniques from Maastrict university, Netherlands and holds more than ten years expertise in ECT, RTMS, TDCS and electrophysiology (EEG and ERP). He has been honored with various awards at international and national conferences for the contribution in the field of mental health.

After being a part of the research and academic programs right from the post-graduation, he has worked as faculty at Central institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, one of the oldest premiere institute in the field of psychiatry and neurology in India. He is part of various clinical and academic programs currently at Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore.
