He is also a Master’s degree holder in the surgical specialty of Ayurveda - Shalya Tantra - from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He secured his Ph.D. in Panchakarma for his study on 'Low backache including lumbar disc lesions & disc degenerations' from Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune University, Pune.
Dr. Prashanth S. Acharya, the Medical Director of Arth Ayurveda Hospitals at Indiranagar, Bangalore, is also the Founder Director and Managing Trustee of the ARTH Ayurveda Group, recognized as “India's Most Admired Brand 2017-18" by White Page International (WPI) and the UK Asian Business Council. Personally, Dr.Prashanth S. Acharya is one of the rare holders of a Ph.D. in the non-surgical management of Slip Disc in India. A recipient of many awards, Dr. Prashanth S.
