Family Medicine department specialty provides primary care health services in medicine, surgery, gynaecology and paediatrics. He has got special interest in the management of infectious diseases, allergy and Diabetes management. He has published many research papers on infectious diseases and diabetes. He has been awarded as Young Researcher award and Taiwan Family Medicine Research award. He is passionate about rural health and currently chairs rural health group of South Asia - Wonca Rural South Asia (WoRSA).
