Dr J P Agarwal is a well known psychiatrist in the city of Bhopal. Dr Agarwal has rich experience in managing psychiatric disorders and behavioural problems. Dr J P Agarwal passed his MBBS degree from the prestigious Dr S N Medical College, Jodhpur. Dr Agarwal had keen interest in understanding the determinants of human behaviour, So he opted for psychiatry, as a career.He earned his MD in Psychiatry from Govt Medical College in the city of education Kota, Rajasthan. After achieving specialization in psychiatry, He worked as an assistant professor in the historical city of Bijapur at Shri B M Patil Medical College. Then, he got an opportunity to serve the city of Bhopal as he was selected for the post of Assistant Professor in Dept of Psychiatry, Gandhi Medical College. In year 2015, he was promoted as Associate professor in Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. In year 2010, Dr J P Agarwal started practising as consultant psychiatrist at Dr J P Agarwal Psychiatric Clinic, Bhopal.Since last 8 years he has brought smiles to many faces and provided hope to many families.

Dr J P Agrawal is actively involved in spreading awareness about mental health and reducing stigma attached to psychiatric disorders. He has delivered talks on All India Radio, Doordarshan and other channels to help spread awareness. He has presented various original research papers in scientific conferences and published multiple original research article and case reports in various scientific journals.
